Heavenly motets

Octopus Chamber Choir led by Bart Van Reyn

The conductor Bart Van Reyn was the artist in residence at Festival of Flanders Mechelen in 2014. During LUNALIA, the city will welcome him back at the helm of Octopus Chamber Choir. The choir will perform some of the most beautiful motets ever written for choirs. As the conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler said of the composer Anton Bruckner: ‘He is one of those very rare geniuses in the history of European art who is bestowed with the gift of expressing the supernatural and bringing the divine into our human world.’
