Solo recital by Fahmi Alqhai

Fahmi Alqhai proves that the moon can make a fire burn brighter in his recital A Piacere. The restrained passion of the viol truly comes to life in the moonlight, that much is for certain. Spanish, German and French masters are paired with Fahmi’s own arrangement of the rock song Always with Me, Always with You by Joe Satriani. Old, new, rock or baroque: in Fahmi Alqhai’s hands, styles combine in a surprising and tasteful way.
