Xenitia
A documentary concert in the footsteps of Greek migrants
Xenitia combines music, testimonies and images in a stage documentary that honours the feelings of loss, nostalgia and the search for a home that all migrants share. These feelings recur in countless Greek songs and melodies. A team of musicians joins forces with a filmmaker and a journalist to give these melodies a contemporary interpretation. The stories of different Greeks who have recently had to leave their country provide the thematic link between the songs.
