In this documentary, the German forest ranger Peter Wohlleben and the Canadian scientist Suzanne Simard (University of British Columbia) reveal the communication and literal connections between trees. Beneath the apparently uncommunicative trees we see above the ground, there is a kind of underground ‘forest internet’: the Wood Wide Web, a network of fungi extending over millions of kilometres. This is an ideal warm-up for the eco-concert installation just afterwards, Zefiro Torna’s PAST >| ORALE.
