Ann Eysermans, a ‘doctor of new music’, is ready behind the counter of the MATRIX PHARMACY to listen to stories from the audience. She prescribes a suitable musical remedy for every problem or complaint, carefully selected from a wide array of new music, to offer comfort, relief or solace.
The MATRIX PHARMACY is a project by MATRIX [New Music Centre]. By offering personalised listening tips, we aim to show that music is being composed even today that appeals to the most diverse listeners and moods, from playful humour to deep melancholy and everything in between.
