Moon music for theremin and voice

Carolina Eyck

Carolina Eyck has been playing the theremin since she was seven years old, and is currently one of the leading players of the instrument. Since her debut at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2002, she has been touring almost constantly to promote the theremin. Many composers have written music for her, including Fazil Say and Kalevi Aho. In 2015 she received an Echo Klassic Award for her work. She has also made her mark as a composer, and is in demand for master classes around the world, from the Juilliard School in New York to the Hochschule Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in Leipzig. She has published her own textbook for these classes, ‘The Art of Playing the Theremin’.
