The Lunalia opening concert is always a unique ritual. In 2021, it will exceptionally be a digital celebration: not a stream but a live meeting. Along with Floris De Rycker, Maja Jantar, Vojtěch Semerád and Jelle Dierickx, we are going in search of traces of Philippus De Monte. Besides the city of Mechelen where he was born, we will also be going live to Prague, the city that played an important role at the end of the life of Mechelen’s greatest musical scion.
