When the soprano Viola Blache and cimbalom player Elina Albach join forces, the result is likely to be an extraordinarily magical concert. ‘What’s old is new is ever ever told’ refers here to a verse from Other Song by the widely celebrated composer Caroline Shaw. Arrangements of her songs are combined with Björk’s ever-astonishing work. The programme also includes pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach. New and old, classical and pop – there are no borders in this timeless story.
