Bryggen Bruges Strings & Ian Bostridge
Franz Schubert’s Winterreise is one of the most famous song cycles of all time. If only because of Gute Nacht, the famous first song in the cycle, we simply had to include this work in the dream edition of Lunalia. The tenor Ian Bostridge is completely obsessed with it. In 2015 he wrote a book about the cycle entitled Schubert's Winter Journey: Anatomy of an Obsession. He can sing the piece to his heart’s content at Lunalia, accompanied by an absolute dream of a string orchestra: Bryggen Bruges Strings.
