On Friday 5 December at 19:00, the Sint-Pieter-en-Paul Church in Mechelen opens its doors to welcome musical talent. The warmest night of talent will be in the context of Mechelen keeps you warm. The programme features four ensembles presenting their warmest musical project.
NEREID Vocal Quartet opens the evening with a programme spotlighting female vocal harmony and the power of the voice. Next, Duo 64-Feet presents a unique project for voice, portative organ and the grand organ of the Sint-Pieter-en-Paul Church. After that follows Hoort Mi Aen, a poetic-musical performance in which voices from past and present enter into a dialogue with one another. Chimaera closes the night with Mycelium, an interdisciplinary performance in which music, voice, movement and living matter merge into a ritual of connection.
