The street leads to unexpected adventures: that is what La Strada is all about. The singer Lieselot De Wilde and podcast maker Eva De Groote step out into the street and talk to neighbourhood residents. Their stories find their way to the festival in the form of interviews, shared impressions and songs. Bel Ayre Quartet plays centuries-old songs between the stories as Hadas Cnaani and Sadaf Malyar cook live on stage. The scent of homesickness and exile mingles with a sense of curiosity and hospitality as it spreads throughout the auditorium. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian artist Kirill Zemtsov draws all the travel tales together. A production to warm your heart.
